Position Summary & Fast-Track Compensation:

  • Month 1 (Training & Onboarding): $16.00 / hour
  • Month 2: $18.00 / hour
  • Month 3+: $20.00 / hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Operation: Set up, run, and monitor high-speed paper-converting machinery, including line embossers (gofrador), perforation assemblies, and core-making equipment (tubera).
  • Quality & Inspections: Perform routine visual checks (autocalidades) to ensure finished products meet quality parameters.
  • Basic Maintenance & Line Support: Check oil reservoirs, conduct basic lubrication checks, and assist technicians with mechanical format changeovers.
  • Log Management: Complete daily production logs tracking scrap, uptime, and parameters; update plant visual whiteboards.
  • Safety & Teamwork: Maintain a clean work area, identify station hazards, and communicate operational statuses across shifts.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred (Secundaria completa).
  • Experience: Experience operating machinery in manufacturing, assembly, or industrial production environments preferred.
  • Bilingual Preferred: Basic communication skills in English and Spanish are a plus.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand and walk during 12-hour plant shifts, occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, and work safely around automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
